Just Turned One l San Antonio Baby Photographer, San Antonio Family Photographer

I have had the priveledge of watching and capturing Damian’s first year…I did his newborn photos and a few mini sessions. I can’t believe he is already turning one! Where does the time go?? Damian’s mom and I met at the park for some fun. He explored and I captured him just “doing his thing”.  I love all the faces that babies give…so many looks that represent their little personalities and who are they are becoming. The black and white image might be my favorite (it is so hard to choose). That monkey is his favorite buddy and is well “loved”. His expression is sooo sweet. The image in the bottom right corner makes me smile. I was peaking through a tunnel at him and he was giving me a look of “come on through…you can do it”. He is even gesturing with his finger! How cute is that?!?

They are only little once! Enjoy every second of it!!

1st Day of School l San Antonio Child Photographer, San Antonio Family Photographer

New shoes

New lunch bags

New clothes

and new teachers…

 

Summer break has come to an end and another school year has begun. We started our morning with chocolate chip pancakes and made it through the rush of packing lunches, taking first day photos, and getting back packs. Everyone got up this morning with excitement …too bad this won’t last…we’ll see how “exciting” things are tomorrow morning. : ) Once we were out the door, I was quickly reminded that school was back in session…traffic was at least double what it was during the summer. When we got to the elementary school, I think Joshua skipped all the way from the parking lot to the building. Inside his classroom, his teacher was waiting for him with a hug..she is sooo sweet! He found his desk and started sorting through his school supplies. He even indulged me in taking a picture with his teacher. I stayed as long as I could, but finally, we said our good-byes and I tearfully walked away…my baby is getting so big.

Next stop was the Middle School to drop Zach off…that place was like a zoo! I snapped a couple of pictures of my big 7th grader as he was heading inside. I couldn’t help but wonder where the time has gone….seems like I was just dropping him off at 1st grade and now we are smack-dab in the middle of middle school. Ugh. I gave Zach a little hug and we parted ways…

New Blog Look l San Antonio Photographer

[throo] the lens photography is turning 1 this month! To celebrate, I decided to give my blog a little face lift and change up a few things. This last year has been so much fun. I have met some fabulous people and have been honored to be invited into their lives to capture a few moments. I look forward to year #2 and all it will bring!

A few highlights on the new blog…

  • My new blog does not contain galleries (a porfolio). To look at my work, go to Categories on the menu and choose a specific category to view.
  • The About menu contains information about me, pricing, how it all works, FAQ, and some other info.
  • Be sure and check out the new collections that are debuting and information on pricing and the process…I have really simplified the process and think you will love it.
  • Something new I am doing is Giving Back. Beginning August, 15, 2011, I will be donating 10% of purchases to either World Vision or Samaritan’s Purse to help send aid to the Horn of Africa.

Let me know if you have any questions! THANK YOU to all of my clients for making this past year so great! I appreciate you all so very much and look forward to serving you in the future.
