Last Friday night, we took Joshua and Madeline to Clay Casa for some painting, cookies, and time with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Joshua had fun putting his hand print on a plate and painting a star ornament for me. I can’t wait to see the finished product! If you haven’t been to Clay Casa, I hightly recommend it!! After all the painting was done, it was time to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him your wish list. Knowing Joshua like I do, I envisioned him giving Santa a long list of items to bring him for Christmas and was hoping Santa was comfortable because the conversation could be long. 🙂 To my surprise, Joshua had only ONE request: a race car track! I guess “Santa” better get on it!!
Once Joshua was done, we added Madeline to Santa’s lap. I think the look on her face says it all…and no, she didn’t tell Santa what she wanted…maybe next year. I am just glad she didn’t reach out and pull his beard. She did like the candy cane she received from Santa so that earned him so points.
Our first Santa visit of the year was a success! There are Christmas lights to see and cookies to bake in the coming weeks!! Is there anything better than Christmas with kids??? I can’t wait to see their sweet faces on Christmas morning…Happy Holidays to everyone!
